Located at Healesville in the Yarra Valley and just 1 hour from the Melbourne CBD. Melways map 278, reference F10. Acces from all directions is easy with Maroondah Highway connecting to main arterials from all directions. Take City Link from the west
or the airport, exit the Monash Freeway at Springvale Road and travel
North to link with the Maroondah Highway.Alternatively, to save paying a toll, take the Ring Road, link to the Eastern freeway, and exit to the Maroondah Highway. From the South and East access
is via the Monash Freeway and Stud or Springvale Road to link with the
Maroondah Highway, or take the scenic drive through the Dandenong Ranges. The Melba or Maroondah Highways
provide access from the North of the State. Access by public transport
is also easy with train to the Lilydale station and then to Healesville
by bus. Your hosts are happy to pick you up from the Healesville township
for the short trip to Sanctuary Park Cottages. Once in Healesville township,
the Sanctuary Park Cottages property is located 6 km South of the town
along Badger Creek Road and then Badger Avenue. Healesville township offers
all facilities necessary to support your stay at Sanctuary Park Cottages.
The local supermarket (part of a nationwide chain) is open 24 hours and
7 days per week and offers a full range of foods. There is a bulk liquor
outlet as well specialist shops that provide that little bit extra. A
Video rental shop operates for those that take the opportunity to see
that long awaited movie. Local restaurants and hotels provide for the
night out. |
